Schauerte

SINCE 1964 IN TOUCH WITH THE LATEST TRENDS

Manfred Schauerte arrived in 1956 at the age of 21 on his Lambretta from Germany to Switzerland. In his luggage he only carried a toolbox, five Deutsche Mark, and a national winner watchmaker diploma. In 1964, he became self-employed with his watch and jewellery business at the location of Bahnhofstrasse 6 in Klosters. The beginning of a wonderful success story, which is being continued today by his son Claude. Like his father, he completed his watchmaker apprenticeship in Solothurn as best in his graduating class. After stops in Geneva, Munich, and Thun, where he worked at Haldimann Horology as a specialist in hand-made Tourbillon, he took over the family business in 2009.

What had been the focal point for more than fifty years, is the core of our family tradition until today: we orientate ourselves on the discrete withhold that brought success to the young Manfred Schauerte already in 1964. We live the spirit of innovation, which we have refined in the horological education. And we are still happy today- just like the first day- to provide our guests with timepieces and jewels. Because we love what we do.
